For the signs I have seen, I believe in God and the hereafter. But there is that “what if this isn’t true” that is causing problems. That little uncertainty causes me stress sometimes.

When I calamity befalls, I can certainly happily accept it from God and bear it patiently because I know there is great reward for that. But if someone tells me that I have to face that calamity in a passive way and just wait for God to help me out of it, it causes problems due to that uncertainty I am talking about.

Basically what I am saying is what if God doesn’t exist and if I am just waiting for my problem to be resolved by Him, it will not be resolved. So, I then take action to resolve it as well based on this uncertainty. I feel like it is rightful to do this as I being human am gonna have uncertainties. But I also feel like I am doing something wrong here. Although I know patience is not about passively bearing pain but to work on resolving it as well, however “that work on resolving it” is also as a result of that little uncertainty in the existence of hereafter and God.

Is this natural or a result of weak faith? What should I do to resolve this?
