Asalam u alaikum!
I was wondering
1. if reading Surah Fatiha in every rakah is farz?
2. if it is should we read individually if imam is reading loudly?
3. If we join in the rakah when imam is reading another Surah, should we read Surah Fatiha first before listening to the imam?

It is farz to recite Surah Fatiha in prayer. When the Imam loudly recites it, one should listen to it and should not recite it, this is what the Quran says when the Quran is being recited, one should listen to it silently. However, when the Imam recites silently, you should recite it individually.
The third point, there are two opinions. One is that since the imam has recited Surah Fatiah, therefore, one needs not to recite it and join the imam, other opinion says that since one has missed the recitation of Surah Fatiha, one should recite it first and then join the Imam. You can choose for yourself.
