    As salam walaikum,

As Ghamidi sahab says, there is a possibility that the children of Adam and Eve may have intermarried with other humanoid creatures who lacked moral consciousness. How, then, did their offspring inherit the human consciousness (free will and moral awareness) that distinguishes humans?

No details are available, so every theory has its limitations. The consciousness in the case cited above might have came from the conscious parent.

Yes, but what are the possibilities that if a conscious being married a non-conscious being, their offspring would inherit consciousness?

Case 1: As we know human consciousness is what makes someone a human—the Ruh which God specifically gave to Adam and Eve. So, logically their children would obviously have consciousness. But what if the children of Adam married someone else who does not have consciousness? Could that result in their offspring definitely having human consciousness even when one of the parents is not human?

The possibility also lies that their offspring could be a non-conscious being. If this is the case..then it cancels out this theory, as the purpose of the creation of Adam and Eve was to spread the race of conscious human beings on Earth.

Case 2: Or, was there some sort of divine rule or intervention ensuring that, no matter if the other creature is insaan or not, their offspring would definitely inherit the consciousness that makes a person truly human? For example, God specifically took responsibility to make sure that the consciousness is inherited.

Yes I know there are no details available but the theory exists, and there must be some sort of explanation as it concerns the continuation of the human race. So I am looking forward to it.

Humans do have offsprings who do have consciousness, the mentally retard. The test of consciousness is not for them. it doesn’t not cancel out the divine scheme.

The Mehram relations are prescribed to avoid conflict within the family. It comes with civilization. Mehram relations increases when the civilization gets more complexed. Marrying in other casts and cousin marriage is discouraged.

In the case Adam’s siblings the civilization was too simple. Marrying the siblings could be the only option available. The reason of conflict within the family was not strong. So if they marry each other it can be seen as such.

    However, it is all speculation.

No, My question was completely different.

I didn’t say about the marriage between the childrens of Adam but between the Children’s of Adam and other humanoid creatures(As Ghamidi sahab suggests this is also a possibility.)

So, my question is:- if that were case what would be the probability that the offspring between a human and a humanoid creature would be a Human with a ruh(the thing that makes a being a human) and not just another heywan(humanoid creature)?

Above I cited two cases, if it follows the first case, then it would rule out this specific speculation of possibility of marriage with other humanoid creature.

So it leaves only the second case..or there may be some sort of totally different explanation I might be missing.

I commented on both aspects of the theory. You may further ponder upon the problem and come up with a better explanation.

A hybrid of human and humanoid can be with ruh or without ruh. If it were without ruh, it was not the subject of the test. Those who were with Ruh made more offspring, then we sometimes have humans without Ruh (mentally retard for example), they, too, are not the subject of the test.
