Consider a person who believes in Allah and all aspects of faith (Iman), yet may sometimes fall short in fulfilling certain obligations, such as regular prayer (Salah) or other commands. The question arises: will this person be judged as a Muslim, or as someone outside the fold of Islam? Islamic teachings emphasize the profound importance of prayer and honest conduct, highlighting that a true believer refrains from cheating and embodies integrity. Many hadiths underscore these distinctions, reminding us that actions reflect the depth of one’s faith, setting Muslims apart from those who do not adhere to these principles.

A person remains a Muslim, despite their sins, until they explicitly renounce their faith. Even if someone’s actions don’t align with Islamic ideals, their identity as a Muslim stands. Ultimately, God judges their faith, not humans.
