کچھ لوگوں نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول ﷲﷺ؟ ہمارے یہاں بہت سے لوگ گوشت لے کر آتے ہیں۔ معلوم نہیں کہ ﷲ کا نام لیا انہوں نے ذبح کے وقت یا نںیں؟ اس پر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا تم بسم ﷲ پڑھ کر کھا لیا کرو۔

While living in US we have halal available but it’s not convenient. In this case can we eat chicken or beef or lamb from a nearby restaurant or it only implies when someone else brought you food as gift? I know we can also eat kosher but i am asking about places that don’t have any instructions about halal or kosher .
Please explain

The hadith you cited is about the situation whether people used to pronounce the name of God on the animal but there was doubt that they might have not done it.
In the case you cited, the people do not pronounce the name of God. Therefore it is known that God’s name is not taken therefore this kind of meat is not halal.
