Assalam O Alaikum. Hope you are well. I am a University of London student who studies Islamic Law. The core textbook that is recommended by our university is a book by Noel Coulson named: A History of Islamic Law. Another book is by Wael Hallaq: An Introduction to Islamic Law. Another recommended book is by Baderin on Islamic Legal theory and his other book on Islamic Law in practice are these good sources of knowledge?I answers please: Should one read the books on Islam by non-Muslim authors? Especially in my context and the authors i mentioned. And are books by Baderin i wrote good sources of knowledge?
