According to Ghamidi sir when the punishment of Allah arrived in case of Prophet Noah AS, the children, women and old people were also killed in that. Only the believers and certain animals on the ship were saved. He said when Punishment from Allah arrives, it’s for all except Believers. So my question is, in case of Prophet Muhammad SAW, the punishment for IDOLATERS was either they should accept islam or get killed. Was the same rule applied there. Were the children killed? If not why the two punishments differed? Couldn’t Allah saved the children and women in Noah’s nation?

The Azab (divine punishment) came as a consequence for the deniers, leading to the death of children and other creatures as well. For children, it was merely death, but for conscious adults, it was the warned punishment they had been forewarned about.
Allah saved only the believers. It was made a sign. God gives death to people. They are killed in other calamities too.
