After demolishing the old masjid for some reason and transferring it to a new place…can the land of old masjid be used for other purposes like building shops, buliding (for public or religious use)..

As it is told that since the land of old masjid was already donated for the masjid, it is now the symbol of masjid as people have prayed there for a long time, and mere demolishing the building will not loose it’s status..

So no activity can be performed on it, but left empty.
