Wasn’t it unfair to tell the people of arabia to either leave your religion and accept islam, accept me as a prophet or else you will be killed? Why was itmam e hujjat even necessary? Like Ok، preach your religion and then leave it to them. Why killing people? Why making children orphans? How does it makes their lives better? Isn’t it unfair to expell people from their land and kill them just because they don’t accept you as a prophet? People can have doubts? People have the right to disagree and the freedom to worship whichever God they want to?

Criminal are punished. This is what humans do in their capacity. God does the same. He punishes the ones who are proven criminals, the ones who deny Him even after having no excuse. They are punished not only in the hereafter but in this world too, after making special arrangements through prophets. This is done to make it a sign of the Day of Judgment.
