…us to shrik. The cause underneath both is a claim that has no proof. So if you believe, superstitiously, rain comes down because of this mechanism, whereas, already we knew God has a role in it, so you are “saying something about the god that you have no proof of”.

When we say rain comes because of certain known scientific factors it not shirk. The same is the case when some unknown factor is considered for the same.

Shirk means to consider someone joined God in His person or His works. However, superstitions lead to shirk. Therefore it is sometimes called shirk.

But asl between the both is same. And why would you call something shirk if it leads to shrik?
