Salam. I have a question that Allah allows man to up to wives if he feels that need has risen. But if he fears that he can’t do justice, he needs to let go of them and keep one.

    I have 2 questions:

1 The ayat that talks about this, first talks about money and inheritance of orphans and then suddenly jumps to wives? Could you please explain?

2 Allah ask us to do justice. Justice in what matters? Justice in money, in time, in affection(love) or in everything.

Some people equate justice with equality, and I am of the understanding that they are not the same. Should a man spend the same amount of money on her both wives or should he spend the needful amount of money on his wives?

This section of Surah An-Nisa focuses on the care of orphans. It advises Muslims to consider marrying the women (such as the mothers or sisters) of orphans if they fear they might fail to do justice while caring for the orphans. However, it cautions that if they cannot uphold justice with multiple wives, they should limit themselves to one.

The concept of justice in this context is left to be determined by a person and social norms with a sound and conscientious heart.
