If generalized statement is said about society, does it come under gheebat, for example if me and my friend are talking and i say that wives are not obedient to their husbands anymore something else negative also suppose me and my friend are not married so we aren’t talking about a specific person or our own wives so does this come under gheebat?

Backbiting is defaming a particular person in his or her absence. General talk is not backbiting.
