    According to ahmadis,for explanation of hadith no. 3535 of sahih bukhari…in which prophet said i am last brick in castle of prophethood,and i am khatam an nabiyeen..they say ibn khukdun has wrote in sharah of this hadith in his book as;

    “People interpret the meaning of Khatamun Nabiyyin with reference to the brick that completed the palace. However, it really means the Prophet with whose advent Prophethood was perfected.”

    [Muqaddimah Ibn-e-Khaldun pg. 300]

    I know muqadimmah is not book to explains hadiths……but why he has interpreted it like this

    It means completion. When Deen is completed, no more Deen is there. The prophethood is completed, no more prophets are there.
