    Assallam u alaikum, Hello

My question is that if a person who usually is sensitive about Major sins and also tries to avoid minor sin when it’s convenient. but at times where it’s a little bit hard to avoid to it (not completely out of his control, it’s still in his nature limits to avoid it) but as it was a inconvenient at that time. if he goes ahead with that minor sin by telling himself “It’s okay, don’t worry. it’s not a big sin, it’s a minor sin. go ahead, no problem”

will his this attitude of knowingly committing a minor sin because it was not very convenient to avoid it, will it be considered Sarkashi?

Still, it is minor and judged accordingly.

@Irfan76 okay sir I think I identified a difference in what concept you present and what I have been thinking.

what I was thinking was that if major sin is done in overwhelming emotional state then it’s not istikbaar and it’s a slip, especially if a person repents immediately.

and on the other hand if I do the same major sin in calm mind and not in a state of emotional overwhelming and impulsiveness, then it will be Sarkashi

i inferred from this, that instead of size of sin, Sarkashi is more aligning towards the courage, the emotional stability, the state of how much control was in a person’s hand, when he thinks and goes ahead with the sin (regardless of the size). This idea made me conclude in a logical way that if a person with courage and deliberate, calm mind decides and goes ahead with even a minor sin as well, then still it can become Sarkashi.

so thats why I had this worry and confusion that will a person be Sarkash for committing a minor sin but still not under impulsive (emotionally overwhelmed state) but more in a calmer and normal way and thinks to go ahead with minor sin, Then what if this thing falls into Sarkashi??

So sir can you please clarify me that what is the reality in this matter? does Sarkashi happen if a person commits any sin in calm, decisive and relatively emotionally stable state, regardless of the size of sin (which means this attitude in minor sins, can also make a person counted in Sarkashi)?

Sarkashi in the minor is a minor Sarkashi and treated accordingly.

@Irfan76 and sir is this minor Sarkashi forgiven by itself if major sins are avoided? or this minor Sarkashi is itself a major sin and would require a tawbah for it’s clearance?

If it is minor it is of course not major and will be treated accordingly. A Muslim needs to ask forgiveness for all his sins whether minor or major. A Muslims attitude is not mathematical. He stays humble to God.
