Aslam o alaikum i want to ask a question, from childhood we are being taught that on the day of qayamah Allah will ask about salah, So what is meaning of this?to elaborate my question if a person lives only 20 years than total count of salah is 23740(7 years are minus from 20) so on the day of judgment will he be asked about 23740 salahs or this question will be about a general question that have to offered the namaz in your life or not?

He will be judged for each of his deeds, including prayers which is the foremost command of God, and how he took care of his prayers whether he was mindful of his prayers or not, etc.

You may rephrase your question to highlight the point that is missing in the answer.

I was asking about that are we questionable about the quantity of namaz or quality of namz?in the quran is there any verse that says that if you are not parying namaz you will be going to jahanum?

It is the command of God that is obeyed. If he demanded a certain quantity, one has to fulfill the quantity. ٖFive time prayre is demanded on their appointed times and a Muslim is required to fulfill this duty.

As far as quality is concerned, it is essential، as nothing is accepted without pure intention. All the Hudood of God are to be fulfilled, failing to which will lead to punishment:

These are the bounds set by God; [abide by them,] and [remember that] those who obey God and His Messenger, He shall admit them into orchards beneath which rivers flow. They shall remain in them forever and this alone is the supreme triumph.

And those who are disobedient to God and His Messenger and cross the bounds set by Him, He shall cast them into the Fire wherein they shall abide forever. And for them is a humiliating punishment.

However, for prayer it is specifically mentioned that the thing which lead to Hell is forsaking of prayer:

They will ask them: “What has brought you into Hell?” They will reply: “[To our misfortune,] we were not among those who prayed (74: 42-43)
