Since the illat behind salah is to establish remembrance of God among votaries (aqimus salatali zikri), can the injunction of five daily mandatory prayers be lifted if somehow votary constantly remembers God in action and conduct without the five daily prayers?

Theoretically speaking, this should apply shouldnt it?

According to Ghamidi sb understanding, no it cannot be lifted. I couldnt find that exact video.

But see this response of Umar sb Discussion 65601 • Reply 65694 for understanding the principle.

Actually, it is only in accordance with Ghamidi sahab’s understanding that I asked the question.

He mentioned that prohibition on pork could be lifted if the elements of prohibition (beastliness) can be removed from the animal. That is why I asked that if somehow a votary remembers God constantly without salah, could the positive injunction be lifted?

But then I think it is not possible since remembrance is subjective and the only thing that can maintain uniformity is by enforcing it mandatorily.

    Kindly shed some light.

Since God has prescribed the method to remember Him, that is five daily prayers, therefore, no other way can be suggested. In this case, the specific form is prescribed for the illat, it is a different case.
