I was looking for links or resources where Ghamidi Sahab specifically talks about rhyme in the Quran and explains it in detail. Why does the Quran rhyme the way it does? Why does it rhyme at all? Asking because sometimes the rhymes are exact, sometimes inexact, sometimes it rhymes consistently (including Surah’s wholly or a big portion in rhyme), some Surah’s rhyme randomly (some verses) while it doesn’t rhyme at other points. It seems like there is no specific pattern or structure to it, and while scholars like Devin Stewart have written acclaimed papers on it, they categorise Quran as the Arabic literary form known as Sajj that goes way back before Islam (this is not a new concept but even our medieval scholars have done work on it). What is Ghamidi Sahab’s take on all this. Why does the Quran rhyme? Why would God’s speech rhyme? Its a human literary construct and invention to create rhyme, rhythm, melody, and musicality in their works. Why would God use something created by humans in his book?

I am sorry if this post is against guidelines but how can I convey all this in a simple one liner question?

    TIA

The right questions is why God used human language at all.

If God has chosen to address human in his language the rest of the objections stand void. Once He used human language He used it with all its literary merits to convey His message in the most effective way. This style Qur’an adopted is unique.
