  • How To Select The Annual Day To Give Zakat On Wealth?

Hello. So I’ve read a lot of opinions and I’m confused. Some say it is only allowed to be calculated by the Islamic calendar and not gregorian. Some say it is only calculated as one year AFTER you become saahib-e-nisaab. Some say it is a year after your last zakat paid. Please guide. Can I just simply decide one day and use the same day each year? Gregorian or Islamic? Whether I have the Nisab amount right now or not?

It is simple. When You got enough savings and resources to give zakat, you can then appoint a date around it to calculate zakat on it. The law of zakat is to pay it once a year. The differences if the calenders makes little difference here.
