    Assalamualaikum

    I have a question

Is manifestation allowed in Islam? I understand the general rule that if something does not involve anything polytheistic or immoral, it is permissible. However, I want to specifically ask whether manifestation itself is permissible or not, because every scholar I have listened to on this topic has called it shirk (polytheism) or haram. What is Ghamidi Sahab’s view on this?

In manifestation, it is said that you focus on and deeply feel what you desire as if it has already happened. This supposedly emits frequencies that match with the external frequencies of the universe, universe then grants you what you desire. But since Allah is the one who provides, would this practice be considered shirk? Or is there some actual science behind it?

Some say that the law of attraction and manifestation originate from Hinduism and Buddhism. Is manifesting considered a sin or shirk? If a Muslim wants to practice manifestation, is it allowed? And if so, how should they go about it in a permissible way?

Does Islam says anything about this not in scientific way but this manifestation or attraction thing related to ALLAH?

And please confirm the authenticity of this hadith or any other hadith in this context

We will treat this in the same way we treat other activities in the “Nafsi” or “metaphysical” domain like palmistry, astrology etc. It is not an established science and we as Muslims will refrain from speculations and other polytheistic notions. We can approach this subject cautiously. As long as the relationship between cause and effect cannot be established scientifically, all causes and their effects will be attributed to Allah only. Doing so otherwise will either make it a polytheistic attitude or clear polytheism.

For example, the whole theory that the frequency of the universe matches etc. when becomes a superstition and a person starts believing in it, it becomes a polytheistic attitude and if a person starts believing that the Universe provides all this and starts asking from the universe directly, then it becomes clear Shirk. Video shared in the reply below will be helpful in this regard.

As far as the Hadith is concerned, other variants of the Hadith make it clear that the Hadith is talking about God’s mercy and forgiveness, which can be understood better when seen in the light of Law of guidance and Error (Discussion 22255) or the Law of Allah regarding Remorse and Repentance (Discussion 22342) i.e. How Allah welcomes his servants with extra mercy and extra forgiveness when they remember him or return to him.

I would like to add an opinion; quran surah an najm says that is for man anything he desires? Only to God belongs the hereafter and the first!

So this indicates even if you practice this new age shirk , God already tells us in this surah that HE alone owns it! And if it will manifest in your reality , it will be only if Allah allows it. He may also not allow it , so this whole concept of law of attraction is shirk and deception !
