If I am visiting a non-Muslim’s (hindu) house for a purpose and they offer me food (like bread) that needs to be consumed immediately and cannot be carried away or saved for later, is it permissible for me to eat it if I am unsure whether it is prasad or not? I feel it would be rude to ask if it is prasad, and I have already declined the food twice. Declining further might come across as disrespectful. In such a situation, can I assume it is halal and consume it unless it is explicitly specified as prasad?
