I’M Confused About A Reference In Al Bayan
As-salamu Alaikum. In Al-Bayan, annotation number 6 pertaining to verse 6 of chapter 37 (al-Saffat) states the following:
“This refers to the heavens which we see with our eyes and observe through our telescopes. The Qur’ān (65:14) has informed us that above it there are six other heavens…”Is ” Qur’ān (65:14)” a reference to a verse or am i misunderstanding something? I looked and chapter 65 has 12 verses – not 14. I considered it was the other way around but chapter 14 has 52 verses – not 65. Perhaps it is a typo or perhaps i am misunderstanding. Please guide me in this regard.

Yes, it is typo, the actual number is 65: 12.
