Umrah Hair Cut Limit (Taksir)
Assalamualaikum,
I want to ask that is there any limit of how much hair to cut for Umrah to be considered valid. 1 inch?
I know that Halaq is recommended.
I have already read answer on AskGhamdi that, there is no limit.
But this time, Please give little detailed answer and explain about hadees where there is limit of 1 inch.

I was unable to find hadees.
Some scholers say, minimum 1 inch from ends, some say must be cut from all 4 sides.
I had cut my hairs myself for first umrah, and my parents are saying, Umrah is not valid.
Now, Please advice, Can I cut my hairs myself as much as I want or as less as I want?

No such limit has been prescribed in Sharia. I am not aware of any Hadith prescribing this limit. If there is any such hadith, please do provide its reference so that an informed reply can be provided.
You can choose to cut your hair yourself, there is no bar on it. Also, there is no such restriction that it should be one inch in length. Scholars usually put a limit of one inch to be sure that some hair are actually trimmed and people do not start taking it casually. If you are satisfied that you trimmed your hair, then you have done nothing wrong. According to Imam Shafii, even cutting of three hairs is enough to fulfil the objective.
