As per surah imran verse 145, death is predetermined. So why do we punish killers. We can do a murder say, “hey he would die regardless, it was predetermined” lol

As per Qur’an surah imran ayat 145, if the time of death is predetermined then why do we punish murderers as the person murdered would die anyways.

Predestination is the advanced knowledge of God. Therefore, it does not make things happen, they happen according to the general law of cause and effect, on their own, God knows them in advance. Now one dies a natural death or killed it happens, and God knew it would happen.
