    Sir,

I see many parents making their children to memorize Quran. To do so in Arabic for a non-Arabic speaker is of no use. Can we memorize Quran in either only Urdu or English language. This can make the child memorize and even understand what is being instructed in Quran. I am asking this for my son. I want him to memorize Quran in languages he understands and then can convey message of Allah to other people.

    Kindly guide me.

Parents should not make their children memorize the Quran. To memorize the Quran should be a conscious decision taken by an adult on his or her own. Only then one can own it.

There is no use in memorizing the translation of the Quran. The Quran is a book to understand and then you can take to others.
