Sacrifice Of Animals Specific Or General Command
I came through an article of an Islamic Scholar from Japan He was of opinion that Sacrifice of Animals is specific to Hajj only and it cannot be performed other than Hajj. He argued by qouting Quranjc verses that this ritual is part(rukn) of hajj and it is mentioned with hajj, there is not a verse where it is mentioned other than hajj.And from the time of Prophet (PBUH) there is no evidence that this ritual was performed somewhere else than Kabbah. I want to ask if it is specific to hajj or not?
