Dealing With Trials And Tribulations
Hello,
I’ve been wanting to ask this particular question directly to Javed Ghamidi Sb through the AskGhamidi sessions, but been having no luck since the last two months, so putting it here instead.
I want to ask, what should be the correct behaviour of a believer and what should he be expecting from Allah at the times of hardship? There are too many variables, one may think that his hardship is due to his bad decisions, or his past sins, or it is just a trial that is sent by God, ofcourse all the scenarios engenders conflicting and disparate attitudes from the affected person. I’ve been trying to wait patiently in my hardship, where things get really distressing and mentally challenging at some points, while at other times there seems to be a closure knowing that our conditions are well known by Allah and he is Samee Ud Dua. Should I patiently wait for the ‘right time’ or is the trial caused by my own actions that somehow, i might not know. As of now, it’s becoming really frustrating, since there is nothing that seems to be improving, even after months of invoking, beseeching and imploring Allah at different times of the day and night, while also trying the best I can to improve my situation. I could feel relaxed if i knew for sure that my invocation have been heard and i should patiently wait more, but in the back of my mind, i have this thought that this trial could be because of my previous sins, or bad decisions, or that maybe i am not trying much (even tho i think i am).
Thank you.
