Nation State And Immigration
Assalam alaikum, I have heard Ghamidi Sahib criticize the idea of Nation state because it blocks people’s migration and movement on Allah’s land. I understand that but in today’s days and age we have also seen the ill effects of mass migration in US and Europe. The results are not good. Multicultural has created problems of crime and conflict in Europe and US. In this situation what stance should a Muslim take on immigration and Nation States. Jazak Allahu Khayran.

He has explained it in his talk ‘Baat Yun hai’, that if a government needs to stop a person or people, it needed to justify it. The current situation is that a person has to justify his immigration which is usurpation of people’s right of travelling.
