It is all about manners. We observe the best manners while standing in front of God. These things doesn’t not validate or invalidate prayers.

Hijab is for na mehram. God is our creator and master. He doesn’t require Hijab or covering. But We observe good manners in front of Him. This is His respect. That is why Muslims are particular about their dress while praying.

There is no concept of Hijab in Islam. Both men and women are directed in the same words to lower their gaze and guard their private parts in front of each other. It requires from both to dress up in a modest way. It is not a question of respect but to prevent fahashi.

Manners is the category which is not obligatory but recommended.

There is no concept of Hijab. It is only the decent dressing that is requires in and out of namaz. There is no special dress code for prayer.
