Is he talking about the whole Qur’an or some specific claims within. Like people argue that Qur’anic teachings are against certain human rights ( which is then defended by new interpretations etc). Or is he talking about certain metaphysical claims that have withstood the test of time unlike other literature. One can find many people disputing many claims of the Qur’an from morality to science. There isn’t a concenus among humanity that Qur’anic claims are true.

The point here is that the Qur’an unlike human endeavours is a unique book, whose intrinsic system Ans knowledge in the form of a high literary piece can’t be conceived by a human being, let alone the one who didn’t have an academic background nor he was involved in any literary activity.
As far as its connect with respect to human rights is concerned, it is quite natural. Definitions and perceptions of human rights are different for different people in different times. One needs to examine the directives of the Qur’an in this regard and then decide on its own merits in the light of human nature, not according to subjective opinions.
