Sincere Critique To Ghamidi Saab’s Media Team
I see a lot of effort going into Ghamdi Saab’s content production—regular videos, a full-fledged media team, and high-quality execution. And while it’s commendable, I believe there’s immense untapped potential—95% of it—just because of how the content is framed.
Ghamdi Saab’s opinions sit at the pinnacle of religious polarization in Pakistan. Yet, the way his videos are titled, described, and visually presented dilutes the very polarization that makes them powerful. The calm and collected approach is valuable, but the content loses attention-grabbing weight simply due to how it’s structured.
Polarization drives engagement. When an opinion challenges the norm at a fundamental level, it naturally sparks discussion, curiosity, and virality. But the way Ghamdi Saab’s content is presented often softens this polarization instead of leveraging it.
My Strong Recommendation:
• Thumbnails, questions, and titles should be far more polarizing and attention-grabbing.
• Don’t cover strong contrasts under the guise of politeness. The message is already direct—why hide its impact in the way it’s framed?
• Let the polarization be clear in the setup; then, Ghamdi Saab can choose his own way to respond.
This is just my perspective, but as someone who actively consumes religious content, I’ve seen how virality is driven by clarity, boldness, and directness. Ghamdi Saab’s books and deeper writings are already sharp and unapologetic—the tone of communication, video editing, and framing should reflect that.
Would love to see this shift in strategy. I believe it can amplify Ghamdi Saab’s reach exponentially.
