    Asalam Walaikum

My understanding for giving fidya for a missed fast is feeding a person for each missed fast. On medical grounds I am not allowed to fast. As a result I participate in an iftar drive where I pay for one iftar each day for 30 days. Is that sufficient.

    Please guide

The fidya for one fast is meal for one day given to a deserving individual (an amount equal to what a person eats himself).
