Ghamidi Shb’S Position On Existence Of God
My understanding of syedna ghamidi’s position is this: man is conscious of him being a creation. That knowledge isn’t logically inferred but a result of DIRECT OBSERVATION. we see human being manufactured in a Factory from sperm to a whole human. This prompts in us INTUITIVELY? that as creation we ought to have a creator. This is as far as we can go by ourselves. Then Prophets give us KHABR (QURAN) that tells us that indeed there IS a Creator. That KHABR is again then evaluated by Rational criterions. Afterwards a HEARTFELT CALM (اطمینانِ قلب) is achieved by indulging with QURAN. ( IT’S AN EMOTIONAL SORT OF SATISFACTION NOT A RATIONAL ONE OF CERTAINTY?)MY QUESTIONS:
1: How does seeing humans being manufactured in front of us INTUITIVELY (or logically, kindly tell which) makes us conscious that we’re a CREATION THAT OUGHT TO HAVE A CREATOR. I mean when we see a chair getting manufactured we see carpenter in front of us but here in case of human where the process is happening within a women may intuitively entail that it’s a self sufficient system, we are seeing no creator ( like Carpenter)
2: If اطمینان قلب is state of heartfelt calmness; an emotional thing why Abraham was presented an OBSERVATIONAL ACCOUNT when he asked for it. It seems Abraham was provided OBSERVATIONAL CERTAINTY OR MAYBE A LOGICAL ONE but not an emotional one
3: Speaking from personal experience and seeing the whole world, people seldom get attached to any belief system ( atheism or religion alike) starting from reason or logic. Start is always emotional or subjecive. People have emotional/subjecive dispositions to religion or atheism ( due to family, cultural , societal background; personal existential crises etc) and after that they look for rational justifications for their belief systems. that’s why we see our eastwrn societies more religious due to culture , family and Westerns being more secular.
