    Assalamu Alaikum,

If a person uses an ointment while fasting, will it break the fast? Or if water enters the anus during taharah, will it break the fast? People who suffer from rectal prolapse or any other conditions like that, find it very difficult to prevent water from entering the anus during taharah. In fact, They even have to perform taharah by fingering and by water entering a bit inside. The majority of scholars believes that, it will invalidate the fast, while there are other scholars who says that there should be a confirming proof in Quran or Sunnah, to prove that it will invalidate the fast. What is the stance of Farahi school on that?

Deen has introduced the principle of ease, according to which when there is unusual hardships in performing a ritual, it is ignored, excused, or alternate is provided. In the cases referred to, such minor or unavoidable things are ignored or excused.
