  • Praying Namaz As A Vegetable Vendor

“A vegetable vendor (redi wala) in India is unable to leave his stall for Salah due to his job requiring constant presence. Additionally, public prayer is not allowed in his area. In this situation, can he pray while standing at his stall with minimal gestures (slight nod for Ruku and Sujood) while keeping an eye on his stall? If not, is sitting and praying with gestures a valid alternative?

It is usually possible to pray properly near one’s stall. If this is not possible for any reason he can say his prayer anyways possible.

“In India, as per law, one cannot pray namaz in public places. So, is this a valid reason for a vegetable vendor (redi wala) to pray while standing at his stall with minimal gestures (slight nod for Ruku and Sujood)?”
