Unless a sin is committed, one is not sinful. if this daydreaming is about sexual activity it is natural, not sinful however one should avoid fantasizing a real person.
Fantasizing other sins makes one corrupt spiritually and it is against purity of moral self, but one is sinful only when one commits a sin.
