In surah Al Araaf, verse number 55 , Quran is telling us the manners to make duas but in same verse its also stating that ” Allah had se barh janay walon ko pasand ni krta” . So in tafseer i read that this verse means that we should not ask Allah extraordinary and out of reach things. Is that interpretation ok? Because we have been taught to ask Allah as many times and as much as we want Because He is Almighty.

It means He didn’t like the one who don’t show humbleness and do not make dua.

Secondly, only those dua are discouraged which are immoral or insane. Making dua frequently is desirable.
