Assalamoalaikum
If one lives in a country where they had 30 fasts but midway through Ramadan, person came to Pakistan where they had 29 fasts.
Does this person need to keep an extra fast after Ramadan to meet 30 fasts of his primary country?

The person has to follow the schedule of the fast of the land one stays, no matter if he has completed 30 or 28 fasts. In case he could not complete 29, he will make it up by keeping a fast later.

Just want to clarify a bit more about above question. Want to clarify word ‘stay’.
1. Person in question lives in Australia and Australia kept 30 fasts this year and then celebrated Eid.
2. This person came to Pakistan on 15th Fast and in Pakistan Eid is celebrated after 29 fasts.
Has this person obligation fulfilled after he completed 29 fasts with Pakistan or does he need to keep one more fast to make it 30 fasts to align with his living country Australia.

29 is fine. And he needs not to keep one more fast. He has to follow the schedule of fasting in Pakistan.
