Prophet Isaac And Prophet Ismael
Bible believes that it was Prophet Isaac who prophet Abraham was about to sacrifice as a test when a sheep appeared and Muslims believe it was prophet Ismael. Which one is true? Didn’t the Old Testament have this story before our document?

Abdul Sattar Ghauri Sb from Al Mawrid had authored a book in this very regard, give it a read. The son who was offered for sacrifice was always Ishmael A.S. The most deliberate alteration in the previous holy books is that the jews i.e descendent of Isaac A.S, distorted any mention or inklings that referred to the progeny of Ishmael. Be it the future prophet that would come forth from Ishmaelites, mention of Makkah or any other text that hinted the passing on of prophethood from Israelites to Ishmaelites.
