When I was small before the age of maturity I often used to make oaths using the name of Allah intending to abide by them but not knowing the importance of oaths in Islam sometimes would break such oaths. Since I was a child at the time this was a common occurrence I also would often make promises with Allah and often would fail to keep them. Am I obligated to offer kaffarah for those broken oaths likewise if a person who does not know the importance or significance of oaths in Islam makes promises intending to abide by them but fails to do so would he need to offer kaffarah even if he was ignorant of the ruling in Islam regarding promises and oaths taken in the name of Allah
