  • Ghamidi Sb Interpretation Of ‘Seven Heavens And Earths’

    Hello,

I wanted to ask why is Ghamidi Sb of the opinion that the seven heavens mean seven distinct universes and not partition of our universe in seven imaginary boundaries?

There are Hadith that supports the later interpretation with Allah coming to the first sky every night, this ofcourse suggest that the seventh heaven is far away and at a higher altitude than the first. Also, the famous roya of Mairaaj, where Prophet Muhammad met with different prophets on different levels of heavens, this also suggest that our universe is one universe, separated by seven imaginary lines that bifurcates them, it could or couldn’t be crossed in by us humans, since they are only imaginary and we are not aware of its real nature.

The concept of multiverse, doesn’t make much sense, since it suggests that all the universe are equal but distinct and there seem to be no mention of one being above the other, like the ahadith suggested.

There are not only heavens but earths too. If the above is a heaven against our earth there would be the same for other earths too.

Coming of the God to the nearest sky is a description of His special attention to the inhabitants of the earth.

What the prophet experienced during miraj or ascension was a dream. It doesn’t tell anything about the nature of heavens.

The scientists haven’t been able to understand or determine the existence of life, outside our own solar system, letalone the universe, we have seen a portion of the universe through the James Webb but that doesn’t count out the possibility that six other planets with some sort of lifeforms might not be out there.

Secondly, although it was a dream, but I believe Javed Ghamidi Sb is also of the opinion that the dream was true, and that he saw the real faces of all the prophets there.
