Quran says to fight those who oppress you, but we know that after the Prophet (saw) passed to the next world, Islam spread on a large scale. Part of this was due the Military advancements by the Rulers.

Can these be termed as Islamic wars, and will the war booty of such wars be treated as it were at that time of the Prophet?

Is it even permissible by islamic law to wage war against a nation just to expand the territory?

Expansionism is not endoresed by Islam. An ethical cause can justifies a war, or it is a political necessity.

Sir you say “not endorsed by Islam”,

Can I say it is explicitly “Not permissible” to wage war on an otherwise passive territory, like what the Mughals did in India.

The Indians were not oppressing any muslim, the Mughals invaded to Expand their territory, would this then be permissible?!

Right. Wars for grabbing lands is unethical and therefore impermissible in Islam.
