If a sex worker adopts a child, gives to charity, and is kind—will Allah still punish her just because of her profession?
And if she’s forgiven and goes to Jannah because of her good deeds, then what’s the point of ordinary people struggling to follow sexual restrictions, living with less, and suppressing desires? It feels unfair either way.

It is not like that. It is not just number of good and bad deeds. If a person rebelled against God by not following His commands and then if he or she tries to bribe Him by doing other good things, it is to playing with God. And God is all knowing.

He accepts valid excuses and doesn’t forgive the wicked.

Muslims restrain from bad and follow His commands to please Him because they feel grateful to Him and they fear Him.
