Homosexuality And Zina
1) Is homosexuality a bigger sin than zina or of the same level?
2) since Zina affects setting up and running the institution of family it is considered a moral crime and subject to penalty. By the same understanding, homosexuality also goes against the institution of family and hence it should also be subject to penalty – is that correct? Is there any room to say that it is not a social crime and hence not subject to penalty- please explain how if that is the case.
3) who decides the legal penalty for homosexuality since it is not mentioned in the Quran? How is it decided- through consensus of people?
