Ghamidi View Wrong?
Ghamidi states that surah ahzab talks about Prophets wives but with regard to this ayat :
O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their cloaks over their bodies. In this way it is more likely that they will be recognized ˹as virtuous˺ and not be harassed. And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.1In this translation it says that they will be recognized ˹as virtuous˺ so ghamidi sb says that it has no relation to modesty and chasity?
@Irfan76 could you again clarify as both question are different -

There is no word in the verse whose translation is ‘virtuous’. the words are یعرفن So that they may be recognized. and the purpose was فلا یؤذین then not be harassed.
