Allah has many attributes…he is al-kareem, ar-raheem etc… such words like Kareem, Raheem, etc are used, even in ordinary language, for others also….does this lead to shirk?…

Or sometimes such words are used for prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) in islamic sources…that that become a premise to call him for help….

What is the concept of shirk in sifaat in farahi school of thought?

Associating a divine attribute to others means it is associated in the absolute term which is exclusive to God. Rahim meams compassionate. Qur’an used this attribute for God and for the prophet because God is compassionate and the prophet was compassionate. Our parents are compassionate too. But we know the difference of compassion of God and others. There is no trace of shirk here. The principle is that attributes of God can’t be used for others with the same absolute form. Like God is all-knowing. No other one can be all-knowing.
