So i don’t know how will one refute as she as is a tabiun if i am using
the word correctly as she was a student of anas ibn malik who was a
    sahabi please explain

Could you explain this hadith to me?

    Asim al-Ahwal

said: We used to enter upon Hafsah bint Sirin who had put her jilbab

thus and covered her face with it, and we would say to her: May Allah

have mercy on you. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And as

for women past childbearing who do not expect wedlock, it is no sin on

them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show

their adornment” [al-Nur 24:60]. And she would say to us: What comes

after that? We would say: “But to refrain (i.e. not to discard their

outer clothing) is better for them”. And she would say: That is

confirming the idea of hijab. (Narrated by al-Bayhaqi, 7/93 )

This is Sahih by Albani I think

Individual preferences cannot become a source to extract religious directives. Sahabiyast did not cover their faces.

The verse cited is about allowing old women not to cover their Zeenat in front of mem. However they are not allowed to show off their Zeenat in such a a way as to allure men sexually.

You may need to learn our principles of understanding Deen.

The Qur’an is the sole authority.

Ahadith and traditions are not the sources of independent source of Deen. They must conform to the directive of Qur’an.

First we establish a directive Ans principles from Qur’an. And then see if the traditions conforms them. If not then it is either misreporting or misinterpretation or personal preferences or fabrication.

@Irfan76 Could you tell why did Hafsa bint sirin differ from our interpretation as she was a student of a sahaba

Calling her preference as an individual preference seems illogical

Our opinion conforms to the opinion of Ibn Abbas. Her understanding needs to be verified in the light of the Quran.

I am referring to the opinion of Ibn Abbas, which conforms to our understanding. Ghamidi Saheb discussed it in detail.
