    Investing in shares through the stock exchange is considered permissible (halal) in Islamic finance, provided that the underlying business operates in a Shariah-compliant (halal) sector and adheres to ethical financial principles. In contrast, prize bonds are impermissible (haram) as they involve elements of both gambling (qimār) and interest (riba). Therefore, investment in Shariah-compliant stocks is allowed, whereas investment in prize bonds is prohibited
