    I think there is some mistake in reference. Reference link gives following hadith having nno link to killing

    Muawiya offered one raka witr prayer after theIsha prayer, and at that time a freed slave of Ibn Abbas was present. He (i.e. the slave) went to IbnAbbas (and told him that Muawiya offered one raka witr prayer). IbnAbbas said, “Leave him, for he was in the company of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ).”

    Sorry but I am unable to understand how it promotes honour killing? Because it clearly say
    اﷲ سے زیادہ کسی شخص کو عذر پسند نہیں ہے ۔ اسی لیے اﷲ تعالیٰ نے پیغمبروں کو بھیجا خوشی اور ڈر سناتے ہوئے ( تاکہ بندے سزا سے پہلے اس کی درگاہ میں عذر کرلیں اور توبہ کریں )

    It shows that Prophet saw actually stopping the killing. Secondly from Quranic perspective, there is no death punishment for adultery.
