    With regard to awrah of men it is the application. So if i go to a swimming pool I of course have to take shirt off revealing my body up to the waist. Is this permissible?

    Seocndly people there will also do the same so is it sinful to look at them?

    The actual and essential aworah is private parts. The adjacent areas are covered for better covering. Therefore, it is suggested to cover from navel to knees. If in some case one reduces the limit further it would be inappropriate.

    So me going to swimming pool where the area below navel is uncovered is OK as this the most the common dress regarding swimming and the conditions can be set @Irfan76
