There is no Deen without prayer. Deen is the name of submission. Prayer the greatest duty to show one has submitted to God. Refusing to pray or neglecting is the very spirit of Islam. Thefore one of the crime of Jews mentioned in the Qur’an is that they wasted prayer. And one of crime of heel dwellers is that they did not pray. The holy prophet declared that the difference between Islam and kufr is to leaving prayer.
